What
Applied Brilliance is one of the most original thought leadership events, designed to raise the level of creativity, innovation and applied intelligence for creative, marketing and design professionals. Applied Brilliance reveals emerging trends and major cultural paradigm shifts holistically through presentations by 19 brilliant speakers ranging from poets, philosophers and economists, to scientists, artists and futurists. Speakers present the information from the outside looking in, and attendees connect the dots to discover how it all relates to their own practices and lives. The annual conference is created as a non-commercial collaboration among attendees, speakers and sponsoring partners.
Why
Applied Brilliance was created because our fast-forward world is missing context with its paradox of abundant choice. In an intimate setting, attendees collaborate and contribute to cross-disciplinary solutions for two days and a night. At Applied Brilliance, successful architects and designers work alongside marketers, creative professionals, and top thought leaders in tackling problems that are changing how we live, work and play. Brilliance is designed as live theater in four acts; from the opening keynote through the four panels and the closing speaker, attendees have the opportunity to be awed, challenged, dazzled and ultimately, transformed.

Applied Brilliance is an official educational provider, granting one complete CEU (10 hours) from IDCEC and AIA.
Who
Presenters are 19 brilliant speakers ranging from poets, philosophers and economists, to scientists, artists and futurists. Their insights on emerging trends and cultural paradigm shifts provide actionable roadmaps to the future. Through a systems-thinking approach, speakers and attendees engage in Socratic problem solving exercises providing solutions for our complex, interconnected world.
